I am a professional singer in the Sacramento area. I sing the genres of opera, musical theater, pop, rock and alternative. I am willing to travel for gigs, as long as I am compensated. I am completely self sufficient and have all my own equipment. I would love to sing at your winery, bar, wedding, private party, corporate function or any other event you would like to hire me for!

Kerri Lyn Scott is from DePere, Wisconsin and recently moved to the Elk Grove, CA area. She received her Performer’s Certificate in Vocal Performance and Opera from Northern Illinois University. Kerri currently teaches Private Voice Lessons in her home studio and performs opera, musical theater, pop,rock and alternative concerts at various venues in the area. Recently, Kerri performed the role of Lady Ella/Chorus in Cimarron Operas performance of Patience in Norman, OK. Kerri was previously a professional chorus member with Wichita Grand Opera and has performed in the choruses of Otello, Le Nozze di Figaro, Guillame Tell, Tosca, Turandot and Don Carlo with Wichita Grand Opera. While at Northern Illinois University, Kerri performed the role of the Dewfairy (she was also Gretels Understudy) in Northern Illinois Universitys Production of Hansel and Gretel. Kerri holds a Masters of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Opera from Ball State University. In 2007, Kerri directed, produced, and played the title role of Bastienne in Early Music Muncie’s production of Bastien und Bastienne as well as the role of the First Witch in Early Music Muncie’s production of Dido and Aeneas. She also performed the role of Pamina in the Ball State Opera Theater’s production of Die Zauberflöte. Kerri played multiple roles with the Ball State Opera Outreach Program’s production of The Lonely Empress including the Empress and Character C (Father, Narrator Two, Taunting Child and the Cloud). A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance and Opera, Kerri performed in the University of Minnesota Opera Theater’s productions of Les Contes d’Hoffman, Dangerous Liasons, Ariadne auf Naxos and Eric Hermansen’s Soul.
